Our family photography sessions are designed to beautifully preserve the special bond you share with your loved ones. Whether it’s playful moments, heartfelt embraces, or genuine laughter, we create a relaxed and enjoyable experience that allows your family’s unique connection to shine.

To book your session, we require a £25 deposit to secure your preferred date and time. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session, allowing you to focus on what truly matters—making memories with your family.

About a week after your session, we invite you to a personal viewing appointment where you can select from a stunning range of products to showcase your images, including:

Studio Family Photo sessions

Our creative studio in Blantyre is the most popular choice for Family photo sessions. It’s easily accessible from Glasgow, East Kilbride and Hamilton and we have a range of backdrops to set the perfect scene.

Many families love the simplicity of our white backgrounds and choose to wear matching neutral outfits whereas others love the “Noir” set up and stylish black on black portraits.

We recommend your outfits compliment each other. Try to keep to 2 or 3 colours, it's much more pleasing to the eye and looks great in a finished wall portrait.

How long do the sessions take?

Our Family photography sessions usually last one hour. This usually means we can get a range of different shots so you have plenty to choose from at your viewing appointment. The one-hour sessions means that you’ll get a wide variety of images, including lots of candid shots and if you are a larger family everyone will be well represented in the photos.

Location Family Photo Sessions

We can arrange to shoot your family outdoors at parks, woods, beaches, towns and other scenic locations. It’s great when a unique location reflects the interests and values of the families we photograph. Ourfamily photography sessions are about having fun and taking photos that are fresh and natural, showing your individual personalities and emotions.

We are also available for families on holiday and looking to create beautiful photographs of their time in Glasgow. If you are planning a holiday to Scotland soon, please get in touch.

FAQ

Our dog is part of our family- do you photograph pets?: Yes of course we love fur babies, just let us know when enquiring that you’d like your pet to be included.
My little one hates being photographed – can you help?: Absolutely, we are used to making wee ones feel comfortable and relaxed in order to get some amazing images. We recommend you do not get the children too excited about the session, in our experience it is better to play it down. No practicing smiles please, let's keep it 'real'
Please bring along any toys or hobbies the children have as it adds to the personalisation of the session.
We’d love a family location shoot but what if it rains?: If the weather isn't on our side we can switch to a studio or home session, find an alternative date or even layer up and brave the elements. As we are also wedding photographers, we are used to making the most of the great Scottish weather. We will make sure the images look like they are taken in perfect weather!
Do you require a deposit?: Yes, all our sessions require a £25 deposit to book. We can have a teams call prior to you paying a deposit to ensure we are the right fit for your family.
What should we wear?: Solid colours photograph well. Avoid anything with big logos, graphics, or busy patterns. Pastel shades work well as they look good on any wall. Shoes tend to look overpowering in portraits and can date the photographs so many of our sessions are photographed barefoot (remember to paint your toenails or book a pedicure!) If you're happier in your shoes please make sure they're clean and not scuffed. We also recommend hair and makeup is as natural as possible.
