Are you ready for your next grand adventure in life? Pregnancy is one of the most precious moments in life for a woman and her family. Why not treasure these short few months with bump, for years to come?
When to have a Maternity Photography session
The best time for a maternity photography session is bewteen 32-36 weeks. During this time, bump begins to make an appearance, perfect for photographing!
If you find that bump has popped a bit sooner than this, please let us know when you would feel most comfortable doing your photoshoot. Be mindful not to leave your maternity shoot too late or close to your due date!
Before you arrive
Before arriving at our studio in Blantyre, Glasgow, please ensure that you consult with a member of our team via phone call, email, Instagram, or Facebook. In doing so, we can arrange a time and date that best suits you.
This also allows us to discuss maternity wear, bump size, and answer any questions you might have about the session.
We understand that this time in your life is hectic, so we will email you all the necessary information regarding the date, time, and what to expect prior to your appointment.
On the day
Come into the studio excited! You are more than welcome to bring in a family member or friend with you to the session. We understand that being in front of the camera can be intimidating for most people. Not to worry, before beginning your maternity photoshoot, we will sit with you and discuss the different maternity shots available to you; we will show you some of the maternity gowns that we have available for you to wear.
Please do feel free to bring along props of your own. For instance, a scan picture, a teddy bear revealing the gender of the baby, or a baby grow with bumps name and due date on it. These are great to incorporate into your photoshoot and create treasurable photographs.
What to expect after the session
Towards the end of your maternity session, we will ensure you are happy to conclude with the range of photographs you have. We will then process your images and schedule an appointment to view your photographs. This is generally around one week after your original photoshoot.
During your sales presentation, you have the opportunity to choose and discuss preferred images, frame sizes, USBs, and finally, complete your order with us.
